I'm Linrong Cai/ Chris Cai, a rising senior Math and CS undergraduate at University of Wisconsin
Madison. My research interest is Machine Learning and Optimization, and I am doing
research study under Professor
Frederic Sala and Professor
Jelena Diakonikolas. I have a strong interest in math, and have finished courses related
to Analysis, Measure Theory, Probability, Combinatorics, Abstract Algebra at
UW-Madison. Among them, my favorite topic is Analysis and Probability Theory. I am fortunate to worked with
Dyah Adila,
Nicholas Roberts, and
Nikos Zarifis at UW-Madison.

Honor Paper
about Cantor Set I wrote for my math analysis courses advised by
Professor
Jordan Ellenberg, though it is
mostly Number Theory.

I like traveling and hiking. Some famous National Parks that I've
visited are Yosemite, Yellow Stone, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain.

I like math a lot. I spent quite some time playing with contest like
math problems during high school.

CLRT19 is short for Cai Lin Reuleaux Triangle 19, with Cai Lin
as my name, reuleaux triangle is one of my favorite shape, 19
is a number that I like. Fun fact: Every Natural Number can be
represented by 19 fourth powers, and the problem related to it
is called Waring's Problem.
